UTMStandard Chrome Extension

Build governed UTM links from any tab without switching to the web app. The extension syncs your workspace naming rules so all the same governance applies.

Installation

Install from Chrome Web Store

Search for "UTMStandard" in the Chrome Web Store and click Add to Chrome.

Generate an API key

In UTMStandard, go to Settings → API Keys and create a new key. Copy it — you'll only see it once.

Connect your workspace

Click the extension icon → Settings → paste your API key. The extension loads your workspace's naming rules automatically.

Using the extension

Click the UTMStandard icon in your Chrome toolbar from any page. The extension pre-fills the destination URL with the current page URL. Fill in your UTM parameters using the same dropdowns as the web app — all your naming rules apply.

Click Save link to create the link. Copy the short URL or the full UTM URL directly from the extension popup.

Syncing rules

Your naming rules sync from the workspace automatically each time you open the extension. If you update rules in the web app, they'll be reflected in the extension within seconds — no reinstall needed.

Note: The extension requires an API key with at least links:write and saved-values:read scopes.
